Ted Cruz shed light on some exciting immigration news from the stage at the Conservative Political Action Conference just a few days ago, but you won’t be hearing hearing about it in the mainstream media. Why? Because it proves Trump right.
The Texas Senator was in discussion with radio talk show host Mark Levin when he told the crowd some astonishing news. He announced that since President Trump was sworn into office “illegal crossings have dropped 50 percent” near Rio Grande. Cruz apparently went to see the progress on a ride along with border patrol and found out this staggering number.
“Oddly enough, you and I have not seen that on 6 o’clock news,” Cruz added.

Senator Cruz attributed the falling numbers directly to President Trump being in office. He said that people across the border know that they won’t get away with that anymore.
Cruz also discussed the Supreme Court and his desire to pass a term-limit amendment for both the U.S. senators and the U.S. House of Representatives. “I think it’s one of the first steps you take to actually drain the swamp.”
Cruz praised the conservative cabinet and the fellow republicans who made this happen. He seems very excited about things to come and progress he’s already seeing.
